Welcome to our (still awesome) blog (and digital push)

Deciding to purchase a home is likely one of the biggest decisions a person will make in their lifetime. First-time homebuyers are presented with a slew of new concepts and jargon, many of which are specific to the real estate industry. Homebuyers are often likely to find themselves entering the home buying stage without a strong understanding of the process, steps that are involved in the transaction, or the contract they are signing. As a result of this disconnect, we have set out to guide and educate clients regarding each step of the process!

This year, I am making a big effort to increase my online presence. This will include providing past, previous, and future clients with the information they need to make an informed decision. If you’ve been following along with my blog for a while, you will notice an increase in the number of posts each month based on YOUR feedback!

Why do we have a blog?

It’s important to develop relationships with potential clients, and those interested in buying a home and securing a mortgage. We are determined to make the home buying process much less stressful for each client. Our blog is just one way for us to ensure we are providing you with relevant and valuable content. Hopefully, some of this will help you when you’re looking to buy a home. Whether you are looking for a family home or an investment property, you are going to learn something new from our posts.

Our mission is making the home-buying and mortgage process as smooth as possible. This blog will be dissecting a number of topics related to the home-buying process. You won’t need a degree in real estate or finance to follow along. Future posts will cover concepts such as fixed rate and variable rate mortgages. We’ll also talk about amortization, the economy, and other useful information that is important to know when buying a home.

My intention is to make sure all topics are easy to digest. Additionally, we will keep you up to date on the local housing market in Barrie.

The digital push

Our blog is the first step we are taking to become more accessible online. In addition to our blog, we will be making edits to the website on an ongoing basis to ensure you’re receiving the best experience possible. We will also be much more active on social media, so be sure to like us on Facebook and connect on LinkedIn for the most up-to-date information on all of our services and offerings.

So stay tuned for our weekly blog posts and get ready to upgrade your knowledge on the real estate industry. This is just the beginning of my digital push! It will take time to cover all of the topics you want to learn about. If you have any questions about buying a home or securing a mortgage, give me a call at (705) 333-4338 or get in touch with me here!
